Im in nz now!

Dear bloggie,

I'm in nz now while i'm blogging. It's kinda interesting when you are overseas and travelling, yet you are doing those typical things u'd do when u lock urself up in the room like facebook, msn and blog. Well... =D I don't care!!

NZ has been really fun so far. We travelled mostly in the North Island - Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo. They are really interesting to tour around. We participated in all sorts of adventure stuff. If there weren't any money constraints, we would've played our fill.

Day 1 - arrived at Auckland. We went straight to our backpackers - Frienz. I didn't quite like it even though it's cheap and there's free internet there. I find the toilet really dodgy. Plus, Jo and I were sharing rooms with 2 other gals. It was really difficult for us to do anything that night like packing, taking stuff and even sleeping. We probably didn't sleep much that night. Oh yea, we went to have korean food in Auckland. It was delicious =D We also went up the skytower, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere. At the viewing area, there were glass panes that allowed you to walk on, and you can see the cars waaayyyy below you. For someone with height phobia like me, i was seriously freaking out.

Day 2 - set off for Rotorua. we went wai-o-tapu to see some thermal springs that probably originated from volcanic activity in the area. The whole area was steaming, and filled with sulphur smell/rotten egg smell. The sight was phenomenal budden the smell was unbearable. We took quite a long walk there. Oh! we also saw this geyser, Lady Knox, shoot water into the sky. I thought the geyser shoots naturally, but apparently, they dropped some surfactant into it to induce water spurts. It was cool anyway =)

Dear bloggie, the internet area attendant is being lazy todae and decides to close the area early. hate him... cya later
