Just more updates about my Jan

During January, toto and jasmine came over to singapore to tour! I didn't really follow them around but I went with them to Sentosa and Chinatown. Didn't photowhore much but we did take a few photos XD

Also, on 23rd January, I had a concert! The process for the preparation for the concert was tiring but I still had fun nonetheless with my new-found friends. The actual performance didn't really go smoothly because everyone were anxious or something. The rehearsal was much better than the performance. However, I must really thank hy (and her sis) as well as faezah, toto and jasmine for coming to support me! [I noe that jaey can't make it so u're forgiven. lol!!] After the concert, i pangseh-ed faezah and co. and hy +sis to join my newfound frens for post-concert celebrations. We went to partyworld next to singapore conference hall to sing. It was quite awkward but got fun later, when we began to self-entertain ourselves when others were singing. Anyway, there weren't much singaporeans around during the KTV. It was more to welcome our VIPs from hongkong and malaysia who came specially to watch the concert. so my fren and i felt awkward initially. Our other frens came later after moving the instruments back to the CC but they left a while later to drink @ a pub. Yijia and I preferred singing and self-entertaining ourselves. haha!

I felt a sense of emptiness after the concert day. It was difficult making new friends and I got really involved in KeatHong CO. It's a pity I won't be participating in their other activities after this concert (for this year la). I felt disappointed as I really wanted to continue with them. I'll definitely miss my newfound friends but i shan't remember to keep in contact with them =)) I don't wanna fly back to melb!!!

Anyway, after my attachment ended, I went to blood bank to donate blood. The funniest thing that happened was... i couldn't donate blood cos my iron level was too low!!! ROFL! 12.5 was the minimum allowed and my level was 11.9mg. HAHA! goodness~~ no wonder i feel lethargic all the time. I was laughing while the doctor was advising me. I can't believe I actually have iron-deficiency (not really deficiency la... just insufficient for blood donation).

Anyway, i met gladys later @ vivo city. We couldn't stop chatting XD it was great catching up with an old friend. I don't believe that over time, you'll gradually distance yourself from old friends. I knew there were exceptions, and exceptions have happened to me a few times already, but i'll still do whatever i could to keep the remaining friendships left =D can't wait to meet her again for sakae sushi!!

Here comes boring feb!

My drama update:
Starting watching tokyo dogs. Oguri shun is damn funnie in that show and mizushima hiro was a bit exaggerating but was still alright. I'm gonna watch a HK drama next XD I wanna watch Gong Xin Ji!

My kpop update:
I haven't been listening to much kpop songs recently due to my obsession with Jaiho. (mx ROFL). Have been updated with the kpop news though. I liked CNBlue's new songs. I like that kind of slow rock rather than heavy metal. Also, the kpop from the new girlgroups were too retarded recently, which explains my shift. SNSD's new song Oh! was damn retarded, and was slammed with plagiarism criticisms. They "plagiarised" Rihanna's shut up and drive. sheeeeshhhh... I won't assume anything but i didn't like that song. I preferred Gee and Tell me your wish. Waiting for songs from the power groups like 2NE1, Hyori, 2PM, Wondergirls and blah blah blah!!

Taiwan 2009 food galore!

All the following food went straight into our stomach and got digested =D

@ a shopping area in Taipei. We were hungry so we got some crepes.

Hy's Katsu set i think. Looks yum as well!

Taiwan trip

I finished my attachment at National Heart Centre already. I was supposed to have a 2weeks attachment at SGH but the nursing department was busy with some audit stuff. Anyway, I was placed at the cardiothoracic ward and whatever I saw were pretty interesting. Had a better understanding of how the local nursing environment is like. At least I'm not that frightened anymore. The clinical educators were all so helpful and nice! they tried to counsel me out of my paranoia regarding adapting to the local nursing environment and taught me many many stuff which I can't learn in LTU.

There's many things I should update about but i haven't.
I love this photo a lot. I took this when I went pancake parlour with toto and faezah before returning to sg last year.
We look like dwarfs! but i think we looked really cute XD

During the post-exam period, i also went to Great Ocean Road with a bunch of guys. Great Ocean Road definitely looks nicer in summer when the sun is out. My prev experience of Great Ocean Road was in Autumn and it even rained while we were there. Unfortunately, those guys decided to leave really early because GOR didn't appeal to them as much and flies were pretty much annoying them. I was disappointed, frankly speaking, since I loved sceneries.

Here's my Taiwan trip photos! I shan't type too much about it. Too lazy to upload many photos since blogger isn't accommodating my photowhoring.
We went to Xin Chu first when we reached Taiwan. Our 2nd day (1st day was spent on the plane) was spent at the amusement park! We arrived there like super duper early and we were the first to enter the amusement park. Talk about kiasuism! We really thought it'll be crowded. Anyway, we finished whatever we wanted to take within a few hours since there weren't much queues around in the wee hours. The rides were not as exciting as those in Gold Coast but they had their own uniqueness. We took a few 360deg rides and the pirate ship was omgawd scary!

If I'm not wrong, this is our hotel in Taichung. We went to Taichung after we left the amusement park. This is the Kiwi hotel if i didn't remember wrongly. I love the room. I love the ambience. There's a tv which isn't in the photo la. I remembered screaming every night while scrolling through the TV channels cos we'd chance upon some porn channels. GEE!!! Then the bathtub in this hotel has jacuzzi! Playful me went to press the jacuzzi button when there was no water in the tub and omg, the whole toilet shook!! The bathtub was so cool the 3 of us (hy mx and i) sat by the bathtub to soak our aching feet.
While we were in Taichung we visited certain places. We visited a flower exhibition. It's something like Tulip fest but has more varieties of flowers. Then we went to Lavender garden! I love the garden! it's so sweet and it's sweeter when u go somewhere, write a wish on a card and tie it somewhere around a wishing tree. lol >.< I love doing this kind of things even though i noe my wish would not come true just like that.
We also visited some night markets there but i don't seem to recall the names XD
We visited a science centre (was it in Taichung?) Anyway, we just had some fun with the gadgets on display for people to try. The following photo is a photo taken of the security camera, which displays me trying to get pass some infra-red lasers in order to infringe upon some private area to steal something =D
This is Sun-Moon lake. We went there when we left Taichung for Minsu (staying @ a holiday chalet operated by a family or someone, usually located at the suburbs in a village) at somewhere. I'm seriously all over the place and there's no sequence XD pardon me. It's a big beautiful lake but too touristy. Full of ahtiongs fighting to take photos with a piece of rock that has characters (sun-moon lake) on it.
I caught some cool uncles posing with their bikes, so i just snapped a photo =D
A very random hotel found @ the same touristy area. It's seriously just one rectangular block standing all by itself. I bet it topples really easily >.<
This was Jiufen in Taipei area. Does it look like a scene in spirited away? I didn't think so >.< onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmZ1t60PCSA_-oW8ZiFLTe5Mw_piMMj69qb_JJD8rmcVoVeG9zLU7fr5gNhPTDGkTSeoMsgzgvawMyvmYy_0thssqEctKh4VyoCBihDmqyR8IuxXdwEoPCsjsZwQe71hFnLGlG4X0yuf4/s1600-h/DSCF9345.JPG">
We went to participate in a recording when we were in Taipei. yes! it's bai-wan-da-ge-xing! haha! The photo's evidence of our presence in the studio.
We went there on our last night. Yes! it looks like the lounge of a hotel but NO! it's the lounge of partyworld (KTV). i was like OMGGGGGG!! the whole partyworld building looks like a hotel as well, full of karaoke rooms. Our room even has its own toilet!! coolness~
To summarise our time in taipei, we went to quite a few places to shop and we walked around for a bit. Oh yes! we definitely went to Shilin and we spent some time shopping for bags and shoes and clothes as well. haha! I had a great time in Taiwan. There's more pictures taken of course but i shall not post la.

yesyes Jaey... i'm updating

Jang Geun Suk is going to China for a fan-meeting! Why isn't he ever going to Singapore for a fan-meeting? If there's one I hope that it's not gonna cost 188bucks to get in to see him >.<

Anyway, I've got a new phone! It's a sony ericsson W995! haha, no more touchscreen phones for me at the moment. Too much research and review-reading deterred me from getting a touchscreen phone. Thinking about the practicalities of getting a touchscreen phone and paying that price for such a phone, I thought I shall downgrade myself and get a slider phone instead. Anyway, I'm liking this phone quite a bit. 3.5mm jack + conversation-mode messaging system + walkman + cybershot, it's like a compilation of whatever I want in a phone. However, the camera is a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't as good as what I thought it would be.

For the past week, I've been entertaining myself with lots of dates with different people. It has been great catching up with people. Also, I've been entertaining myself with CO practices. I joined a CO by chance and have only 3 weeks to practice before the concert. So that's... supposedly 3 practices? Fortunately, I chance upon their practice camp so I got some intensive practice at Pasir Ris PA Camp. Nothing interesting... just practice practice practice. And oh yea! Pasir Ris park has a smart ice-cream uncle who discovered an orchestra of people at the camp. So he came in during our mealtimes, specially, to sell ice-cream to us =.= The poor me decided to tolerate till the last day of the camp. Just when I wanted to buy the ice-cream badly, the ice-cream uncle didn't come T.T Anyway, the concert's coming and i'm pretty excited!

Other than dates, I've been entertaining myself with shows XD I finished Mr Brain, Orthros no Inu and now, i'm watching JIN! haha! It really takes me a LOooonng time to survive the first episode of any series. But beyond that, it was pretty easy for me to progress. I've also watched 4 episodes of Wild bunny - a variety show that showcases the other side of the members of beasty idols 2PM!! It's pretty funnie when u watch with eng subs.

Wild bunny 2PM - Eng subs Ep1 1/5

HAha!! I'd really love to influence those around me with Kpop XD Then can share more interesting stuff!
