(entry on 14th march transferred from livejournal)
I think i like the idea of posting entries periodically? I've doing a lot of that... So many things happened in a month and i realised, i simply can't be bothered to update about them! i shall summarise them...CNY: not bad lah... quite a few angbaos. I can feel that many of my aunties are still using those red packets from years ago. The design hasn't changed. Oh well, i throw away those angbaos eventually. The highlight of cny is still meeting up with my cousins. Although i'm not very close to my cousins at my mother's side, we still talk of course. Just that, the content is rather different. I still remembered that during my cousin's wedding, i was sitting with those girls. However, they were simply talking about fashion and stuffs like that. Things that i'm not really interested in. Although i spent the effort to wear a skirt there, each of them was still more dazzling and attractive than me. I've managed to surprise a few people though. So during cny, i spent most of my time mapling in my little cousin's room >.// Well, something significant happened. while preparing to lohei, my bro and I actually cooperated to design the plate. We placed bagua strips on the lohei to form a "wang4". This is something me and my brother have never done. Even though we didn't talk, but the idea of him willing to take bagua strips which i've cut is really a huge consolation to our more than icy relationship. Perhaps 2 of us will mature sooner and stop complaining about each other and begin talking? At my father's side, it was more fun lah... Zhen and I stayed together most of the time. Eelin was busy gambling as usual. Zhongzhong came later to bully me. We fight practically every cny even though we see each other only during cny. Quite sad? but somehow, the tradition has proven its use. Zhongzhong ALWAYS deny having a Gf, though i've heard from the elders that he's in a relationship le. Haiii...so shy for wad? SO! I bet that he'll get married within the nex 10 years, while he bet that i'll get a bf in the nex 7 years. HA... i'll win =) Zhen is going into the army soon! i can imagine her dominating those alpha males... lol... she's a cousin i've been admiring. Her involvement in sports and stuffs like that. As for eelin? i found out the greatest scandal of hers. Someone "gao bai" on val dae to her! i saw the exact message in her phone and i was slightly disgusted by that guy la... oh well... cny ended well but i spent 2 tiring days...Work: had trouble quitting but i guess, the boss is willing to let me off already. WELL! i've worked beyond my resignation date... and definitely, that one month's notice is there already. But frankly speaking, i really liked working there with my colleagues. Other than encounters with the supposedly mean lady boss, all other encounters were filled with challenges and fun. I like my customers and of course, i hope that they like me too. some customers had this freaked-out look on their face when they see me. Of course, i've served them before. and that freaked-out look was meant as a joke. They didn't avoid me on purpose and i still had quite a lot of fun serving (and chatting with) them. Since i worked at the counter most of the time as a part-timer, there's bound to be less interactions with customers. but after i've cut my hair and changed my glasses, some customers commented that i looked different. They actually remembered how i looked like. when i wore skirt to work that dae... almost all my colleagues commented that, "wahhh....you became prettier ah? girls really look different when they dress up eh?" ...also, when i went to work after having my haircut, the boss asked with a serious tone, "y did u cut short hair?" i was rather surprised y he asked that with a very serious expression. of course, i hoped he meant that as a joke. Well, the boss has been slightly nicer to me lah... when they imported new gadgets and was trying it out that dae, i was rather interested even though i was busy with other things. The boss simply said, "hey...let her play for a while..." so nice? dunno lah... but i think i'll really miss my colleagues when i leave that place entirely... i really enjoyed working with them. there were plenty of jokes and stuffs. and of course, my eye candy =) even dajie found out about eye candy... haha...she wouldn't tell him of course, because there are so many other girls "in love" with him. Ok...so that's the summary for the past month. I shall continue updating... hopefully tml's adventure at the shop is sufficient for me to enter a blog entry =) and hopefully, there'll be a new handsome newbie coming to the shop... i'm sounding despo? oh no! =)
